Photograph, black and white, the British Army checkpoint on Thomond Bridge, April 1919. Original photo by T.B. Richardson, who issued it as a postcard. Mounted with ivory card and framed in a plain wooden frame with gold beading on the internal side. Backing of hardboard held in place with brown sticky paper. Framing by Chris Doswell, small white label on reverse reads "Chris Doswell, Posters, Riverrun, Honan's Quay, Limerick, Tel. 061-40277. Picture Framing, 11 St. Joseph St Limerick Tel 061-318292". The section Posters to 061-40277 is crossed out in pencil. Two brass mounting plated fixed at either side.
