Clay pipe, 'D. GARVEY & SO' on one side of stem, 'LIMERICK' on the other, both stamped, with frame. Wickerwork or Basketry design around bowl, from point of junction of stem with bowl, up to just below lip of bowl. Bowl tilted forward slightly from vertical. Pipe broken, bowl complete but stem separated at point of junction with bowl, and mouthpiece portion missing. Found in water fountain, Cathedral Square, Limerick.
