Whiskey Jar, ceramic, stoneware. Whiskey jar, globular, expanding to domed top, mouth in centre of top, neck with collar, neck expands to top (concave profile), flat top. 1 gallon. Edge of base bevelled. Cream coloured to above point of greatest diameter, brown above. Strap handle, applied. Base flat. At top, opposite handle, stamped, black: T. Mc.GRATH / 30 WILLIAM STREET / LIMERICK. Right, beside handle, in oval stamp: GROSVENOR / A / GLASGOW.
