Whiskey Jar, ceramic, Stoneware. Whiskey jar, cylindrical, slightly expanded to base, domed top with mouth in centre, short neck expanding to top, but narrowing at top, flat top (s-curve profile). Cream coloured to just below shoulder, brown above. Handle broken off completely. Base slightly dished. At top, opposite handle, transfer printed in black: W. H. WHITE & Co. (curved) / LIMERICK. Left, also at top, oval stamp: PEARSONS / D / CHESTERFIELD, and separately, large: E.
