Design, Limerick lace. White ink design on grey paper mounted on cloth. Half of a broad collar design, half crescent shaped. Broad outer border with wave edge; consists of a repeating C-scroll motif linked on the out side by overlapping half crescents and on the inside by a single strand with short sparse leaves to either side. Inner border wave edge with similar C-scrolls with foliage of similar type curving between the C-scroll and sometimes branching out towards the centre of the design. At centre three large floral designs with two similar but smaller designs between each, all linked by festoons of marrow short leafed foliage; each field has lime/ linden like keys but a more serrated leaf. Some scuffing of paper at one corner. Mounted on plain thin white cotton cloth. ?A clean version of 1998.078.011? Framed 1998; plain light wood frame; Chris Doswell framer's sticker on reverse.
