Design, Limerick lace. White ink design on grey paper mounted on cloth. Repeating broad border design, ?clean drawing of 1988.078.007. Wave edge border, four waves comprised of smaller wavelets, at centre a pair of symmetrical sea-horses with tails grasping a seaweed strand which curves to wave crest half way to edge; seaweed and sea-horse then repeating in mirror image to edge; dots between sea-horses with upper limit at a wavy band of narrow short leaved sea-weed; rising above from half way between sea horses is a large frond branching into several different types of sea-weed; trailing tendril design between fronds. Mounted on thin plain white cotton cloth. Framed 1998; plain light wood; Chris Doswell framer's sticker on reverse.
