Name plate, cast iron, from handle of a garden roller. Circular ring with openwork lion rampant at centre, lacking part of tail. On front side; "Thomas Hassett/ 9 George Street Limerick" on reverse "Royal Garden Roller".In two pieces. Three projecting lugs for attaching to handle with bolts.
(The fork is wishbone shaped; bifurcating away from a straight handle to the drum of the roller; it meets a cross bar just above the drum and terminates at the axis of the roller either side. The piece is attached at three points; the handle at either side and centrally on the cross bar above the drum)
