Map, photograph of, from set of estate of Edward Hoare in the city of Limerick by John Appleyard, 1747. No. 9. Premises bounding, on W, the County Jail or landgable leading from Prizrs Lane to Bonfields Lane, on the E the Abbey town wall, on the S Prizn Lane, and on the N with part of Hoare estate. 1 August 1847. Set by Lord Blessington to Foxteth Roch and assigned by him to Bartholomew Stritch whose heirs assigned it to John Dwyer. Mearing on south with Prizn (prison) Lane, on west with the County Gaol, on north with part of Hoare estate set to Seymour Craven and on the east with th Abbey Town Wall. Tenantsw; Simon White has a workhouse; executors of Madm Ford hold a waste piece, marshalsea held by Michael Abjohn(Apjohn), Christian Roberts, clothmerchant, has wallplates and reek(?) part from the Revd Joseph; house of Robert Reed, house of Simon White, chandler set to Simon Kent, butcher. In pencil at top right, Now held by Bourke.
