Map, photograph of, from set of estate of Edward Hoare in the city of Limerick by John Appleyard, 1747. No. 8. Premises fronting Sheep St on the W, Abbey town wall on the E, with a back gate to Shambles, and on the S, Bonfields, in St Mary's parish Englishtown. Lane. 1 August 1747. Premises set in 1700 by Lord Blessington to Charles Atkins who assigned them to David Bindon. Mearing on west with Sheep Street, South with Bonfield lane, east the abbey town wall and north with part of Dr Halls estate set to Alderman Sergeant. Three stables and a house on Sheep Street frontage, the latter tenanted by John Casey, carpenter. At top right in feint pencil, Now held by Henry...(rest unclear).
