Bottle, porter?, dark green glass. Mould made, with raised lettering on one half; all inside a rectangle, "O'Donovan's/ Limerick" between two concentric circles, "Bottling" between two lines across centre of circle "Established 1897" below circle. Deep punt in base, body widening slightly from base to shoulder, rounded shoulder, long neck with swelling at centre rising to mouthpiece; mouthpiece, step up from neck narrows then steps up again to slightly bulbous collar, designed for cork.
