Postcard, b/w glossy, portrait format, white margin around the view. Title in view at bottom left, "John's Castle, Kilmallock" (King's Castle). Straight on view of castle from the S.?, archway under castle divided into two; party of children to right of arch; in foreground three women, one holding baby, and a child walk towards camera, on pavement at right outside shop; a string of bunting across the street; large white rectangle at first floor level to right of arch, unclear what it is. Reverse printed in brown; at centre top "Post Card/ British Made", with short T-shaped divider below, with dot at junction of upright and cross stroke; up left edge "MacCarthy, Newsagent, Kilmallock."; to left "Correspondence" to right "Address Only". Unused.
