River Deel in middleground with castle on island to right of a bridge at centre; by left edge on far bank the abbey, ruined church on far bank at centre; on near bank two roads converge on bridge, gallows at left; "between Page 52 & 53" at top right. Light wood frame with pale blue-grey wash and two internal gold lines, pale grey mount; hardboard backing sealed with brown paper. Grey on white framer's sticker, "Chris/ Doswell/ Picture Framing/ Tel (061)31 82 92/ 11 St Joseph St. Limerick". Plates for wall attachment at either side.
