Bottle. Clear glass, square cross-section, straight sides, rounded shoulders to short cylindrical neck, flat everted rim; stopper ground glass with disc lid. Printed label, black on white; "From O'Shaughnessy./ Surgeon and Chemist in Ordinary to her Majesty/ [a box under] Medical Hall, 12 George St. Limerick."; inside box, printed "Tartaric Acid"; up left side of box "Physicians Prescriptions and"; up right "Family Receipts/ Carefully Prepared". Just over half full with congealed white crystals.
