Bottle. Clear glass, square cross-section, straight sides, rounded shoulders to short cylindrical neck, flat everted rim; tapered ground glass stopper with upright oval handle. Printed label, black on white; at top a crowned circular frame with busts of Victoria and Albert; lion and unicorn supporters to either side; below "O'Shaughnessy,/ Surgeon & Apothecary/ 12 George St. Limerick". The words "Carbonate of Soda" are crossed out, and "Gregory's/ Powders" written in Ms black ink above, partially over the portraits; below the crossing out, also in Ms., "Tea Spoonful in Wine ????/ ?????? or water." label coming away from glass slight tear at one side.
