In left arm, a harp on a laurel sprig. In lower arm, a greyhound facing left. In margin below "Ryan, Limerick". R/ in centre pointed oval; image of Virgin and child. In margin around; beginning bottom left; "The Catholic Total Abstinence League." Plant in bottom of oval. In upper arm; on scrolls "In hoc signo/ vinces" A cross between the scrolls, spiral plants around.
