View across river to castle on hillock, a bridge to the right, middle ground; two men in fashionable dress, one standing one sitting, fishing from the near bank of the river, left. (Probably wrongly named; Askeaton Castle?) In pencil on reverse "Lishe (J?)/ Coll W.C." Dark wood frame with pale blue-grey wash and two internal gold lines, pale grey mount; hardboard backing sealed with brown paper. Grey on white framer's sticker, "Chris/ Doswell/ Picture Framing/ Tel (061)31 82 92/ 11 St Joseph St. Limerick". Plates for wall attachment at either side.
