Pattern makers tool of J Finnan. Iron. Similar to 84.105. Consists of an L-shaped strip of metal, rectangular in cross section. The broad axis of the cross section on the base of the L-shape is horizontal when the tool is vertical. The change of axis on the stem occurs as a gradual round shouldered widening to the flat two thirds of the stem, the narrow part of the stem being on the same axis as the base. There is a gradual widening from the narrow section of the stem to the base, with a broad rounded shoulder. The base is of even width. The tip of the stem narrows slightly, with rounded corners, and is bevelled to a sharp edge.
