Pattern makers tool of J Finnan. Bronze. Consists of a rod, circular in cross section, with spatulate ends, one of them curved, the other straight, forming an overall elongated S shape. The ends are rectangular in cross section, smooth on the outer surface, deeply hollowed on the inner, the hollows with flat rims and straight sides. The curved end is of even width and depth, and is attached to the rod on the rectangular end. The straight end is of even width and depth, but curves slightly from the smooth face towards the tip. It is attached to the rod on the corner of the hollowed face. There is a slight bend on the rod above this end.
