Spoon, serving, Limerick silver by Daniel Lysaght. Tapered bright-cut round pointed handle with slightly downturned end. At handle top is an engraved sunburst with a central circle containing two dots. Below this is an oval, bright-cut, formed of outward D-shapes, the initial H within, ornamentally engraved, with engraved splashes around. Below the oval is a series of seven bright-cut roughly V-shapes, inverted, the ends not meeting, with a vertical dash between the ends. These become smaller from the top downwards. Below there is a dash, and three vertical dots. The bowl is egg-shaped, with a rounded drop. Marks: Sterling in large letters without surround, D.L. in rectangle with concave lower side, to each side.
