Opposed vertical handles, with opposed lugs at right angles. One lug has a shallow v-shaped depression on upper edge to act as spout; transfer directly below this. On base in black, Model of Ancient Stone Vessel/ From Dover Castle/ in Dover Museum/ Rd. No. 390788/ with crest of a falcon wings expanded, ducally gorged, below, over, W.H. Goss.
