Deed, printed and manuscript on vellum. Lease of ground in George's Quay, Limerick, from Thomas Earl of Longford and John Viscount de Vesci to John Murphy, pawnbroker, dated 13th August 1828.Printed form with deails filled out in ms. Fronting onto Quay, on which Murphy has built a dwelling house (N.B. de Vesci estate popeties lay between Bridge St and Creagh lane). lease on lives of Lord William Paget, 2nd son of Lord Anglesea, Thomas Spring Rice MP and Villiers Stuart MP for Co. Waterford. Lower edge turned up and sealed in three places; two signatures of the first parties but none of the second. Blue stamp duty label, embossed twice; upper , Ireland/ GR, crown, IV/ in a wreath, Lease/ July/ 1823; lower, Ireland/ GR, crown, IV/ crowned harp/ Ten/ Shillings. Two stamps, brown on white , pated on reverse of stamp duty. Statement of witness to signing by first parties, on reverse signed by J. Kincaid and James Stewart. Folded in three hiorizontally, then from sided to centre , then in half. Contents annotated on outside as folded.
