Deed, manuscript on vellum. Assignment of lease, between John O'Grady of Kilmeaden Col. Waterford and Richard Marshal, farmer, of Inchinlaurence (Inch St Lawrence) Co. Limerick, re a moiety of the lands of Inchinlaurence; dated 9th January 1812. Lease on the lives of O'Grady's sons, John Darby, Thomas, and James Michael. The land adjoins the farm of Thomas Noonan, the garden of 1 acre and 30 perches and the churchyard. Mention of william marshal, richard's brother. Lower edge turned upwards and seals affixed at two points, with signatures of parties to the left. Blue stamp duty label at top left; crowned garter bearing inscription, Ireland, with harp at ceentre, over, I Pound/ X shillings, brown on white GR stamp affixed to reverse. Below label, stamped in black, 2 SH/ 6 Pen, in a circle. Reverse has a receipt for £330, from marshal and signed by O'Grady. Also noted that a memorial entered in the Registry of Deeds Bk 849 p. 22 No 456930, signed John Griffin. Folded from top and bottom to centre, then in half, then in half twice laterally. Annotated with contents on outer side as folded.
