Enchantingly/ situated on the banks of the Maigue River, desmond Castle forms part of a medieval landscape which/ includes the Augustinian Abbey (1315), the Frnciscan Friary (1484) and the Trinitarian Priory (13th C) This wonderful collection of medieval monuments nestle on the outskirts of Adare village/ renowned as the prettiest village in Ireland. Not used.
