Across bottom; From the banks of the Shannon River on Browne's Quay, these magnificent monuments of Limerick converge together/ into one view. In this vista are the medieval monuments of King John's Castle (1200) famous for the sieges of the/ 17th century, St Mary's Cathedral (1168) home to the best preserved medieval misericords/ (mercy seats for the eldeerly priests) in Ireland and St John's Cathedral (1856-61)/ the tallest spire in all of Ireland. Not used.
