Mortar, ceramic, china souvenir miniature. Printed with image of Limerick Mayoral Arms (quartered castle gate and three lions) and city motto. Made by W.H. Goss. Overall white glaze, arms in red back and yellow, gold line around rim. Two handles and raised decoration of a pair of shields in laurel wreath repeated twice on opposite side to arms. In black on base; Model of/ Cromwelliam Mortar/ Found at Hythe/ Reg No 390790/ a crest of a falcon/ W.H. Goss; small square with cross inside on base in yellow.
