Inspeximus (charter) of Charles II to Limerick city. Latin text. Illuminated first line with portrait of the king enclosed in the letter C. Manuscript on four sheets of cloth-backed parchment. At bottom the cloth is cut away to reveal four signatures, one only legible, J. Bysse?. Seals. On the back tow rectangles are cut revealing the inscriptions: James Naghten 1824, and Charles 2., Anth. R.K. 10 March 1826, W.M.
