Account book. Grocery shop account book. Records the individual purchases for named persons, together with prices and occasional summing up when account paid. Each individual has a block of pages and the entries span mid 1951 to early 1953. Double columns on each page, entries in pen, pencil and ballpoint. The book is a cash ledger with ruled lines and columns, but these are ignored to give the two columns per page. Pages numbered from 1-181 with a small number after that which have lost their edges. Dark red paper covered boards, mostly stripped down to card. Occasional loose sheets of paper interspersed throughout, some removed for separate registration. Front edge affected by woodworm.
