Pommel/ knop, copper alloy, from a swagger stick. Made in three pieces, a hollow ball made in two pieces, with cylindrical collar attached for fitting to stick. Rounded end stamped with a garter with unclear inscription, with Prince of Wales feathers at top; inside a lighted grenade over XXIII. Royal Welch Fusiliers. Upper end splitting along seam. Fairly dented and worn.
