Border of shamrocks at top and bottom with diamond pattern at sides, with Bank name at centre top; inside border at top left arms of a harp in shield with animal supporters and a crest of a stag looking out from a castle gate; at centre Hibernia with harp and wolfhound and motto "Erin Go Bragh" at right "Ten" in circle. Text below "I promise to pay the Bearer/ On demand Ten Pounds at Bruff/ for the Directors and Company". In ms in place for manager's signature To Nus? Feb 19th 66". "Perkins Bacon & Petch, London. Patent Hadened Steel Plate" above frame at centre bottom.. Note has been stuck in a book; remnants of glue stuck to back
