Postcard, colour glossy, landscape format, white margin across bottom. Title in Irish and English in margin at left "Sarsfield Bridge, Rowing and Boat Clubs, Ireland", with "HT64359/ Photos Aero-Views., Dublin" at right. Aerial view from northwest, with the rowing clubs and bridge at bottom and town spreading out beyond the bridge; O'Connell St cuts diagonally across the top left edge and Mallow St. across top right corner. Reverse printed in black; at centre top a trade mark of a strip of film wrapped around a single engine monoplane, with "Aero Views Ltd., Dublin" on film; up centre as division "A reproduction of a real colour photograph by Aero-Views Ltd., Dublin"; to left at top "Sarsfield Bridge is named for Patrick Sarsfield the commander/ of the Limerick garrison that successfully withstood the attack/ made by William of Orange in 1690. On the bridge is the 1916-22/ memorial designed by Albert Power. Shannon Rowing Club and/ Limerick Boat Club have their quarters just off the quays at the/ bridge. The Franciscan Church,(1879) just behind Harvey's/ Quay on Henry Street has a striking portico of slender Corin-/ thian columns, while the interior is also in the Corinthian style"; to right "Post Card/ Address only" with box for stamp to right in which "Postage/ stamp/ here"; below "M" followed by five lines for address; "Printed in Republic of Ireland" at bottom right.
