Line of shops and houses on left side of road, river wall on right, footpaths with cobbled gutters each side of road. Donkeys and carts, and a woman pulling a cart, on street, men and boys on left footpath, and boys on right footpath, looking towards camera. Broad margin below with title in black left and right. R/ printed grey-brown, headed "Post Card". Dotted vertical division left of centre, headed left "This space mey be used / for communication / in the British Isles only / (Post Office regulation)", and right "The address onlt to be / written here". Down left side, small "Printed in Saxony". Edward VII halfpenny stamp postmarked Newcastle ... / 7/30 PM / JA 17 / 08. Addressed to Mrs M O'Mahony, Devon Road, Templeglantine, Co Limerick.
