Postcard, colour, matt. King John's Castle, Limerick. A very fine specimen of Norman Military Architecture. Valentine. View of bridge and castle from rivers edge on Clancy Strand at Curraghgour falls. Rocky slope to river bottom left corner, with line of three rowing boats anchored beyond. Cottages behind tollhouse on Verdant Place. Extreme right, Curraghgour House. Title, brown, across top, first part italic. Bottom left, "56295" and J.V. in circle, white. R/ printed grey, heading "Valentine Series / Post Card" divided by globes inscribed above "Famous" on "Throughout", below "The / World " Short underline and vertical line division. Publisher vertically on left. Rectangle outline for stamp printed up right outside "Printed in Scotland".
