Rocky vegetation left foreground, rowing boats anchored beyond. Three storey building behind tollhouse on Verdant Place. Extreme right, three quarters of west wall of castle. Courtyard buildings coloured red. Title, red, top left. Number "2955.2" bottom right. R/ printed green, headed (large) "Post Card" divided by arms, a heart inscribed "Hartmann" held by a cavalier, scroll at feet inscribed "Trade Mark" . Vertical dotted line divide, headings left "For inland postage only this space may / be used for communication", right "The address only to be written here".
