Photograph, b/w print framed. 4 Limerick city councillors, posed in their robes alternately seated and standing; names in ms. on mount, in Irish, Ralph MacNiece, Patrick O'Brien, John Shanahan and Michael Murphy. Mount, originally off white? now browning and dirty; printed "C. Gostellia/ Thomas Street/ Limerick". Black frame, with scroll decoration around inner edge. Paper backing on reverse badly worn, exposing length of thin wooden board at back of photo. Framer's label on reverse is '99.0011.1.
