Postcard, b/w matt, landscape format, white margin around. Title in bottom margin at centre "Roman Catholic Church, Kilkee". View of west front of church, seen across drive with large cross on pedestal in front; three bays with outer two in form of a tower, transepts on either side; one man in shot, in front of door at base of left tower. Reverse printed in brown; at centre top a picture of Milton, "Trade Mark" above "Milton" below, over "British Throughout"; to left of portrait "The Milton" to right "Pos[t Card]" partially obscured by stamp; central T-shaped doubled division line; to left of centre "For Communication this space/ may be used"; right "The address only to be written here".; box for stamp at top right mostly obscured but "Stamp" inside. On halfpenny green and one penny red, definitive issue postage revenue stamps of George V second portrait; both set sideways across top of card. Circular cancellations over each stamp; "Kilkee/ 2 PM/ 3 FE/ 21/ Co. Clare". Addressed to Miss Gertrude Smith, Koln-Deutz, Deulger-Freiheit?/ Rathaus, Germany, from Sid; message in German. Pencil dealer's marks at top "Ireland/ Clare" and centre right "£12".
