View along street, from Bindon St. end, with Post office at centre right; cars parked along the kerb at left and right with three cycles standing at right kerb and one at left; car at front left reg. no. IE6960. Reverse printed in green "Post Card" at centre top with "Printed in the Republic of Ireland" up centre as division, "Correspondence" to left of centre, "Address" to right; "Produced by Cardall Ltd. Dublin, Copyright Reserved" across bottom centre. Green twopenny Eire definitive issue stamp at top right, with outline map of Ireland under an arch. Circular cancellation at centre "Inis/ 1 15 PM/ 7-IX/ 1960" with seven parallel wavy lines to right over stamp. Addressed to Mr. Bill Brennan, Market Street, Castlecomer, Co. Kilkenny, from Mary, regretting hasty departure and hoping to see him again next year. Pencil dealer's mark at top right "£7.50"
