Postcard, b/w glossy, landscape format, white margin around view. Title in view at bottom centre "Abbey Street, Ennis, Co. Clare"; View along the street which curves to right, with O'Connell statue rising above buildings at centre top; two men walking up street, with two bicycles parked against the kerb to their right, and a small boy beyond bicycles; woman moving towards camera on left pavement, front, further up pavement a man with bicycle talking to man in doorway, and beyond them a woman moving up street. Reverse printed in brown; at centre top "Valentine's" with below their twin globe trade mark set on a V and "Famous/ Throughout/ the World" set on banners across globes; "post" to left and "Card" to right of last; vertical centre division line; "For Correspondence" to left; "For Address Only" to right; box for stamp at top right with "Printed/ in/ Ireland" inside. Unused. Pencil dealer's marks at top to right of centre "£24" and "74".
