Halberd, bronze. Harbison Type Breaghwy, No. 296. In two fragments, broken off near the tip. One side is straight for most of its length, sloping gently towards the hafting plate and the tip, the other slightly convex in outline. The hafting plate is damaged, with the remains of two round rivet holes surviving, one central, the other towards the straight side. A broad straight-ended flattened midrib runs parallel to the sides, tapering to a point at the tip. The edges are slightly bevelled. The tip is rounded. Both faces are scratched longtitudinally, especially towards the hafting plate. H.18 handwritten in yellow ink on one face
