Axehead, copper or bronze, flat. Harbison Type Ballyvalley, No. 1647. Thin narrow butt, irregular, apparently unfinished, partially flattened, with oblique scratch marks. On one face, at the butt, there is a straight transverse line, partly a shallow groove. The sides diverge gently and evenly from the butt for two-thirds of its length before splaying to the convex cutting edge, which is blunt and partly dented. Rectangular cross-section with rounded narrow sides. All surfaces are deeply pockmarked. FRNO 339 H.20 EBA L. 9.5; W. cutting edge 5.0, butt 2.2; T. 0.75; Wt.
