Postcard, b/w glossy, portrait format, white margin around view. Title at bottom "The Spring Rice memorial Foynes". View of one face of the cross, inscription at base not at all clear. Reverse printed in black; at centre top a shield, in which, "Signal/ Series/ E & S/ D & B"; "Post to left and "Card" to right of shield; Vertical division line with "This is a real photograph" reading down; "Correspondence" to left and "Address Only" to right; box for stamp at top right with "Printed/ in/ Eire" inside. In pencil across address and message space; "Local View Cards/ For Sale"; in pencil in stamp box "2d". Pencil dealers mark below shield left; "£2". Not posted.
