Postcard, b/w matt, landscape format. Title at bottom left, "Training College, Limerick". View of the front of Mary Immaculate college, with horse-drawn carriage outside front steps and nun to right of carriage, seen from near present entrance gates. Reverse printed in black; "Post Card" at centre top in slightly ornate script; double T-shaped division below; "Lawrence, Dublin, Copyright" up left edge; "Communication" to left of centre, "Address" to right; box for stamp at top right in which "Printed in Saxony/ Stamp". Unused. Pencil dealer's marks "Eire/ Co. Limerick" at top right, "11" at bottom left, and "£1.50" at bottom right.
