Aerial view, with Thomond Bridge parallel with top edge and cut by it, west end of Sarsfield Bridge at top left, Sarsfield Barracks towards bottom centre, lake/pond at bottom right. Reverse printed in black; at centre top a trade mark of a strip of film wrapped around a single engine monoplane, with "Aero Views Ltd., Dublin" on film; up centre as division "A reproduction of a real colour photograph by Aero-Views Ltd. Dublin"; to left at top "Since the Vikings in the ninth century made their settlement at/ Limerick, its history has been one of continued growth inter-/ rupted by frequent struggles for possession. It is today a prosperous city well in excess of 50,000 (the/ fourth largest in Ireland) and many thriving industries.
