View of the castle from the south? with partially blocked arch; a group of c 7 children stand to the right of the arch and a group of 4 women with children walk towards camera on the pavement at right. Reverse printed in brown; at centre top "Post Card/ British Made" with T- shaped short division below; "MacCarthy, Newsagent, Kilmallock" up left edge; "Correspondence" to right of centre; "Address only" to right. Message in blue ball-point, that this is how Kilmallock looked in the old days. Unposted. Pencil dealer's marks at top left "Lim/ £6"
