Postcard, b/w, matt; title at top left "Adare Abbey". View of the ivy clad abbey from the south-east? across a field. Reverse printed in black "Post Card" at centre top with double vertical division lines below; up left edge "Hely's Limited Dublin"; left of centre "The communication may/ be written in this space"; to right "Put the address here"; box for stamp at top right in which "Inland 1/2d./ Foreign 1d./ with nothing/ but address on/ this side" and "Printed in Belgium" reading down as right side of box. Unposted and unused. Pencil dealer's mark at top left "Lim" and bottom left of centre "WAF. 50p". Card is a bit grubby and ragged at corners.
