View along the street which curves to the right, with the spire of a church visible at the end of the street; both sides of the street are lined with vehicles, both motor and horse-drawn, with a horse-drawn wagon moving towards camera and slightly blurred; a single pedestrian on the right pavement; at left margin is what appears to be a newsagent/ tobacconist. Reverse printed in brown; "Post Card/ British Made" at centre top with a T-shaped central divider below; up left edge "MacCarthy, Newsagent, Kilmallock"; left of centre "Correspondence" right of centre "Address only". Unposted. Black ink at top right "15/1/43". Pencil dealer's mark at top right "Lim" and bottom left of centre "£9"
