View from across a field with of a plain barn type church with what appears to be a detached bell tower to the left; there is a stone wall enclosing the site with a boy standing on it at centre and there are four people to his right behind the wall and a man standing on the back of a cart to his left; trees frame the view at either side. Reverse printed in green; at centre top "Post Card" with double underlining and double dividing lines below; up left edge "Hely's Limited Dublin"; left of centre "This space may be used for communication Inland/ and to all Foreign Countries except Japan/ Spain and United States"; right of centre "The Address only to be written here"; box at top right for stamp in which "Inland 1/2d/ Foreign 1d." Message written across back; Happy Xmas and show the archdeacon his old church, from Sister Nell. Pencil dealer's mark at top left "Lim" and bottom left of centre "£3.50".
