Postcard, b/w, matt; title at top left "Park Gate and Free Library, Limerick. View from Pery St.-Mallow St. Junction showing the gates to left of picture and library to right; to the right of the gate is a flat bed donkey cart, with two men on stopped by a third man, possibly a vendor of some sort, further to the right on the pavement by the library are 5 or 6 children. Reverse printed in black; at centre top either "EM" or "ME" in monogram form, "& Co." with banner below "The Royal Series"; "Post" to left and "Card" to right of previous; short T-shaped double division lines at centre; up left edge "J. Kivlehan, Limerick. Pale green halfpenny postage revenue stamp of Edward VII at top right corner. Circular black cancellation reads "Limerick/ 10 PM/ MY 30/ 08/ 1". Addressed to Miss S? Mound, 38 Powis Square, Bayswater, London W across the whole of the back, no message. Pencil dealer's mark "[pound sign]2" at top to right of centre.
