View of the west front of the church from over the churchyard wall, with north wall visible also. Reverse printed in brown; "Post Card" at centre top with a short double underlining, with vertical double division line below; to left "This space, as well as the back, may/ be used for Inland Communication,/ Post Card Rate and for Foreign at Letter rate."; "The address only to be/ written here" to right; rectangular box for stamp at top right largely obscured by stamp; "Printed in Great Britain" down outside right edge of stamp box. Pale green halfpenny postage revenue stamp of Edward VII, definitive issue. Circular black cancellation on stamp "Kilmallock/ 10 PM/ NO 6/ 05" Addressed to Master Jack Liston, Clongowes Wood College, Sallins, Co. KIldare, from Mamie, re a parcel that has gone astray. Pencil inscriptions at top left"Lim" and centre bottom "[pound sign]1.50".
