View along a street with large house at end with dormer window; a car is parked against the left kerb and a cart against the right, while a bicycle leans against the wall of a house at right; there are telegraph poles on each side of the road in the foreground. Reverse printed in black "Post Card" at centre top with vertical dividing line below; "L. McCarthy, Adare, Co. Limerick" up left edge; "For Communication" to left of centre; "Address" to right; box for stamp at top right corner, with "Printed in/ Great Britain" below bottom edge. Unposted and unused. Pencil dealer's marks, "Lim" at top left, and price at bottom to left of centre.
