View along the Cliffs with sea at right, in foreground a woman in a red dress stands near the edge and a man half lying looks out to sea. Reverse printed in black, with red rectangle at bottom left; inside rectangle is an outline map of Ireland with a black dot and arrow locating the view; to right of rectangle " Cliffs of Moher Near Lahinch, Co./ Clare: Five miles north-west of Lahinch, these are/ one of the outstanding coastal features of Co. Clare./ This great "Wall of Thomond" consisting of horizontal/ beds of millstone grit and sandstone, stretches for/ nearly five miles from Hag's Head (440 ft) to O'Brien's/ Tower where they attain a height of 700 ft. Near/ O'Brien's Tower there is a car park and viewing/ platform for visitors. O'Brien's Tower, a circular castle-/ style structure was erected in 1835 by Cornelius O'Brien."; across bottom left "Printed and Published by John Hinde Limited, Cabinteely, Co.
