Clare./ This great "Wall of Thomond" consisting of horizontal/ beds of millstone grit and sandstone, stretches for/ nearly five miles from Hag's Head (440 ft) to O'Brien's/ Tower where they attain a height of 700 ft. Near/ O'Brien's Tower there is a car park and viewing/ platform for visitors. O'Brien's Tower, a circular castle-/ style structure was erected in 1835 by Cornelius O'Brien."; across bottom left "Printed and Published by John Hinde Limited, Cabinteely, Co.
